History Through Art (Documentary Series/Discovery)

Description: Starring host Nancy Sellers, "History Through Art" is an eight disk educational documentary series for grades 9 -12 that explores how music, architecture, sculpture and art reflected and influenced their times and subsequent eras. Connections are made between culture and style and history, politics, philosophy and science. The epochs covered include the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Age of Enlightenment. Teacher’s Guides are provided. Originally produced for Clearvue/eav, the series is now distributed by Discovery.
