Benefactors: A Social Commentary Dramedy

Description:  This Theatre of Western Springs (TWS) based version of Michael Frayan’s "Benefactors" was on the College of DuPage - COD Best 10 List. It is a hard-hitting comedy/drama about an idealistic architect who believes that good environments create good people. While designing a housing development in the slums, he discovers that creating good can lead to his downfall, the ruin of his wife and extended family of neighbors. The production was created with a black and white in color look that featured background image projections, flawless British accents and intense performances.
